Pozzuoli Bay offers a great number of archaeological dive sites, only a few of which are discussed here. What many divers don't know is how many of these sites are in shallow water and can easily be explored even with mask, fins and snorkel only. Your optimal diving experience here will be from a boat.

If you're new to the area this site will be particularly useful. Oftentimes even locals themselves don't have the right information to give you.

There is more to diving and exploring these sites than just getting into the water. A section is dedicated specifically to laws and regulations regarding limitations in certain archaeological zones that are under government protection. Included are official maps, and directives in the Rules page.
